China News Service, July 6. According to a report from the Japan Broadcasting Association (NHK), a fire broke out at a factory warehouse in Yoshida, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan on the 5th, and 4 people have been killed. The local police said the deceased might be 3 firefighters and 1 policeman.

  According to reports, the fire occurred at about 1:30 a.m. local time on the 5th, and the fire was basically extinguished after burning for about 16 hours. It was reported that the fire was in the warehouse of a daily necessities manufacturing plant. After the fire was extinguished, rescuers found four bodies on the second floor of the factory.

  According to the local police, after the police and the fire department received the alarm, some personnel first entered the warehouse to confirm the fire because there was no open fire in the factory. During the confirmation process, a huge explosion suddenly occurred in the warehouse, and the smoke instantly filled the entire warehouse. Among the personnel entering the warehouse, 3 firefighters and 1 policeman lost contact.

  The report said that because the body is currently difficult to identify, the police are urgently confirming the identity of the deceased.

  Regarding how the fire occurred, the factory in question said that the specific cause is not yet clear, and the factory is conducting a detailed investigation.
