The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority has employed a batch of three drivers to work in the public transport sector, within the network of internal lines of the authority's bus fleet in the emirate, and the three drivers started their work a few days ago.

Behroozyan explained that the first phase of this project was launched by appointing three drivers who were chosen according to the international specifications and standards approved by the authority to operate them on the three lines: the circular line number 77, which links the Baniyas region - Deira City Center - T1 - T3, and line number F36, which is one of the feeder lines for the metro stations, starting from the Mall of the Emirates - Dubai Science Park - South Al Barsha, and line number F70, which is one of the feeder lines for the metro stations, and it starts from Burjuman - Bur Dubai - Al Fahidi - Burjuman.

He pointed out that this initiative aims to strengthen the public transportation system and continue to improve and diversify the services provided by strengthening the collective transportation network of the authority with more women, as it currently operates 165 drivers in the taxi sector, 41 drivers in the limousine sector, and one driver in The school transport sector, which confirms the effective role and efficiency of women in occupying jobs in the various sectors of passenger transport in the Emirate of Dubai, and its contribution to achieving the authority’s vision of safe and easy transportation for all.
