DRC: whistleblower Claude Mianzuila detained in Mbuji-Mayi

Claude Mianzuila pointed to the disappearance of tens of millions of dollars when several of the most beautiful diamonds were replaced by stones of less value. Investigations have been opened, part of the management team has been suspended, but the file seems to have stagnated since.

Claude Mianzuila is accused of damaging imputations by the wife of the financial director of Miba, recently quoted by the local press as having sought to make disappear documents from the computer of her husband blocked in Kinshasa. So there is anger around Mr. Mianzuila for the fact that he speaks, that he alerts the population to the fraudulent subtraction of mineral substances belonging to the Miba, explains the lawyer, who concludes that " Mianzuila's silence  Could help some.
