For President Félix Tshisekedi, this is a joke in bad taste. The perpetrators are unknown, but they must be found and brought to justice, he said. Following the publication, on social networks, of a list of government members of the non-existent Republic of Kivu, certain personalities cried out in provocation.

Marcellin Chissambo, close to Kabila and former governor of South Kivu, denies any involvement. He knows nothing about this structure but claims to have been informed by someone who is in a neighboring country a few days before publication.

For the Nobel Prize winner Denis Mukwege, this is a trap that hardly hides yet another attempt to dismember the DRC. And to add that its authors would be the same who, for 25 years, in collusion with foreign forces, impose on the Congolese populations wars and unbearable suffering.

Also cited in the team, Antipas Mbussa Nyamuisi, former Minister of Foreign Affairs, talks about the maneuvers of those who "  have installed insecurity in North and South Kivu, including in Ituri  ". He also adds that these people are planning to destabilize the country.

Others say there are many frustrations in this region.
