30 colorful bi-hotels will decorate the meadow land near Bringstaskolan's dining room along the E4 in Harmånger. The striped pollinators will have a safer future in their new homes while the village will get a color click similar to the one Delsbo has received through the birdhouses adorning the trees along Route 84.

- You do something positive. We need bees for pollination. It is necessary, says Angelica Eriksson, one of the 30 summer jobs.

Natural housing is disappearing

The reason why it is invested in just a bi-hotel in the municipality of Nordanstig is because their natural housing, which has traditionally been found in pastures, ditches and arable islands, is disappearing. The agricultural landscape is changing, and not only in Sweden.

If there are no bees that pollinate, for example, fruit in the fruit counter will disappear with coffee, juice and dried fruit in the muesli.
