“The management of the Accounts Chamber decided to supplement the plan with several new activities. The control department will analyze the effectiveness of government agencies in supporting citizens during a pandemic and minimize the negative consequences caused by the crisis, ”the press release said.

In particular, federal incentive payments to physicians working with coronavirus patients will be monitored, and the use of federal budget funds allocated for the purchase of artificial lung ventilation devices, heat television recorders, non-contact thermometers and air disinfection units will be checked.

In addition, it is planned to assess the effectiveness of the allocation of funds to support the mortgage market and housing.

The Accounts Chamber will also monitor state support for sectors of the economy, use of the National Welfare Fund and the implementation of state internal and external borrowing programs implemented as part of measures to combat coronavirus infection and its consequences.

Earlier, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree on the allocation of about 7.5 billion rubles for special payments for July to health workers in direct contact with patients with coronavirus.
