India's 106-year-old man was cured in Corona 19 and is a hot topic.

In particular, the old man survived the Spanish flu pandemic around the world in 1918, PTI news agency India reported on the 6th.

A doctor from Rajiv Gandhi Hospital (RGSSH), New Delhi, the Indian capital, said, "The grandfather, who suffered the Spanish flu pandemic at the age of four, was infected with Corona 19 and recovered and was discharged recently."

The family of the old man was hospitalized by several people infected with Corona19.

The elderly, as well as his wife and son, were confirmed.

"The man recovered faster than his 70-year-old son," said a doctor at RGSSH. "He will be the first New Delhi citizen to be infected with Corona 19 after the Spanish flu pandemic," he said.

However, the doctor added that it is unclear whether the old man had the Spanish flu in the past.

The Spanish flu pandemic that swept the world from 1918 to 1919 was said to have killed 40 to 50 million people at the time.

It is estimated that about one-fifth of all deaths worldwide are in India.

Meanwhile, in India on the 5th, 67,165 corona19 cumulative confirmed cases occurred based on the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
