Valtteri Bottas drove to the opening GP of the season to win in Austria.

Bottas, who led from the pole position until the end of the race, was able to hold teammate Lewis Hamilton on his heels almost through the race, but in the end Ferrari was driven second by Charles Leclerc of Ferrari and Lando Norris of McLaren, for whom the podium place was the first in his career.

With his opening win, Bottas increased his neck by 13 points to his teammate. His race weekend was also supported by his girlfriend Tiffany Cromwell.

An Australian professional cyclist recently released a video of the race’s prize-giving ceremony in which he poured out a concise message to his partner:

- My hero, Cromwell wrote with a heart smiley.

Cromwell also released a joint photo of the couple, in which he said he was proud of Bottas.

“It was awesome to be able to be here by his side and support him, just as he supports me in my rehearsals and races,” Cromwell wrote.

According to Cromwell's story, the duo also had time to go cycling somewhere in Spielberg on Sunday before the Bottas race.

Cromwell said in his account earlier that he would be able to start his own race season in a few weeks.
