The rescue service and the sea rescue company were alerted to Mollön outside fleet Uddevalla at 12.30 pm after a person sounded alarmed that their friends were unable to get out of the water.
- The Maritime Rescue Society was in place after only a few minutes because they were on another mission in the area, says Isac Östin at JRCC Maritime and Air Traffic Control Center.
At the scene, the Naval Rescue Society was able to help three of the people out of the water, two of whom were then taken by ambulance to a hospital. The damage situation is currently unclear.
