The general manager of the Jabhar Free Zone Organization in Iran, Abdul Rahim Kurdi, stated that the trade link between Mumbai, Hamburg and St. Petersburg will be via Astrakhan, Anzali, Jabhar and Nava Sheva (India) instead of the Suez Canal, which will reduce the time it takes to transport goods from Russia significantly, from 38 days to 14 days.

In an interview with the Iranian News Agency (IRNA), Kurdi indicated that Iran is a station in the middle of the world thanks to its distinguished geographical geographical location, adding that Iran, especially from the port of Jabhar, can play the role of connecting the east of the world with its west, and its north with its south, where Today, the beaches of Makran and Japhar are turning into a major economic route in the world.

The Iranian official stated that the port of the martyr Beheshti, which President Hassan Rouhani opened two years ago, constitutes a turning point in the economic relations of the Jabhar Free Zone, and 300 million euros were allocated to activate the railways in this region last year, which led to the project entering a new stage.

He confirmed the preparation of the infrastructure to receive any kind of foreign investment in Jabhar, adding that the capabilities currently available have strengthened the desire of foreigners to be in Iran.
