“Today in pharmacies there is a certain shortage of medicines. There are several reasons for this. Firstly, increased demand from the population. People are massively buying drugs - 10 or more packs of paracetamol and other drugs, ”TASS quoted Tugzhanov as saying.

According to him, if in May in Alma-Ata 50 thousand packs of paracetamol were sold per month, then at present it is only 100 thousand per day.

He noted that previously they sold 100 thousand thermometers per year, the same amount was bought in one week.

According to Tugzhanov, dishonest dealers are also to blame for this situation.

Earlier it was reported that the number of cases of coronavirus in Kazakhstan reached 47,171.
