Cabinet allocated about 7.5 billion rubles for additional payments to doctors for July

“Payments are calculated based on the fact of working with patients with coronavirus, without reference to time,” the cabinet reminded.

Funds will be allocated from the government reserve fund.

As part of the instructions of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, doctors receive an additional 80 thousand rubles, average medical personnel and ambulance doctors - 50 thousand rubles each, and junior medical personnel, paramedics and ambulance drivers - 25 thousand rubles each.

Earlier, the Cabinet approved the allocation of 11 billion rubles for co-payments to social workers and doctors who are involved in the fight against coronavirus infection.

At the end of June, Putin called for continued payment of benefits to health workers who are struggling with coronavirus in July and August.
