On Europe 1, the mayor of Pau and president of Modem François Bayrou regretted the lack of clarity, according to him, of the pension reform. According to him, a "fair and well prepared" reform could obtain the approval of the French.

INTERVIEW

While Emmanuel Macron, in his interview with the regional press on Friday morning, reaffirmed his desire to carry out pension reform, François Bayrou, guest of the Grand rendez-vous on Europe 1, considered that the "understandable nature" of the reform could "be improved" a lot.

"I am sure that debates will take place around this subject," analyzed the mayor of Pau and president of Modem. "I always thought that if a reform was fair and well prepared, a government could train the French to follow it. I add a third thing: fair, well prepared, and understandable," added François Bayrou. "On readability, comprehensibility, I think we could improve a lot. Even I sometimes did not understand very well!", He assured.
