His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed, during the committee’s meeting via the technique of “remote communication”, the importance of benefiting from the experiences, challenges and lessons that the state has gone through, in a way that helps future generations to take into account the necessity that the readiness be always greater, and to the extent Future challenges, in response to the directives of the state leadership.
The campaign team reviewed the developments of the "UAE Volunteer" campaign, since its launch in early April.
The campaign managed to attract 21 thousand and 847 male and female volunteers from 134 nationalities in the Emirates, including 6,980 citizens, and 14 thousand and 867 residents in the country.
The number of volunteer opportunities offered by the campaign to volunteers of different ages and nationalities reached 185, of which 150 are field, and 35 are virtual.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, during the meeting, attended by members of the committee, to provide an opportunity for the participation of an elite group of national cadres who joined the campaign, knowing the nature of the tasks they perform and their role in the field.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed told the volunteers: “In my name and all the members of the committee, I thank you very much for your great efforts, your time, your perseverance, and your initiatives to join the campaign and work in these difficult circumstances.”
And His Highness affirmed: “As much as your family is proud of you, every resident and citizen of the Emirates is proud of you and all that you offer.”
