4,000 servings of wild boar meat to the county's elderly residents: "We want to help"

The meat that will go to the food at the elderly will be collected, checked, inspected and cut and then transported to the municipalities.

- All the municipalities of Sörmland have agreed to get meat, says Björn Granquist.

In order to protect the crops on the farmers' fields, the shelter had been planned for a long time, but they did not know what the interest would look like.

- I had believed in around 50 people, but over 300 hunters signed up and about 35 wild boars were donated to the elderly, says Björn Granquist.

In Katrineholm, young hunters Södermanland were also represented.

- I have some young people out with me, it is important with rejuvenation and they help, "says the game keeper in Katrineholm / Flen Björn Granquist.

- It is difficult to describe hunting for those who do not hunt, but to get out into nature and experience it on its best side, I think is the charm of hunting, says 17-year-old Jonas Hägg.

Now no wild boar was trapped in Katrineholm, but hunting is hunting, as the hunter said.
