The car chase lasted for about ten minutes and in connection with the chase, the police also fired shots at the car.
"A colleague perceived it as the suspected car steered straight towards him, so he fired a shot at the vehicle's hood," says Göran Carlbom, watchdog officer at the police region West to GP.
A man in his 40s has been arrested and suspected of attempted cruelty, assault of means of procurement and a number of traffic offenses.
An investigation will also be carried out into the location where the police fired the shot at the offender's car.
