According to reports, according to data released by the Peruvian Ministry of Health on July 3, Peru has tested more than 1.74 million virus samples. In the past day, Peru has added 3,595 newly diagnosed cases with a total of 295,599 cases; a total of 181 new deaths and a total of 10,226 deaths.

On July 2nd, a man went to Ate Hospital after experiencing new crown symptoms, and unfortunately died at the door while waiting for medical treatment by a doctor. According to the man’s family, the Jorge Voto Bernales Hospital in EsSalud previously stated that he had no beds and refused to accept the patient, so he had no choice but to come to Ate Hospital.

In response to this incident, the head of the National Health Supervision Department Carlos Acosta requested the Ministry of Public Affairs to investigate in accordance with its authority. He said that although the hospital had no beds, abandoning a seriously ill patient would cause him to die, not only to impose administrative penalties on the hospital, but also to determine personal responsibility.
