Ignoring the feuds that pitted the top two during the campaign, it was finally decided that two socialists would join the new team at the helm. "A majority fully mobilized to respond, in a collegial manner, to the challenges of the very particular period that is opening," explained Jeanne Barseghian. “Realizing the importance of these challenges, Catherine Trautmann and I have initiated a renewed dialogue in the past few days. It was necessary, at the dawn of this new mandate, to work for the cohesion of the forces of social transformation present in Strasbourg. The elected official insisted on "working together, within the framework of an intergroup, to implement our ecological, social and democratic project for Strasbourg." "
"A strong sharing of responsibilities"
Insisting on its desire "to share responsibilities strongly between elected representatives of the majority" in order to "respond more effectively to the ecological and economic crisis", she underlined that she wanted to "overcome the divisions".
