It was in January this year that police found over 11 kilos of amphetamine in a storehouse in the Norrmalm district of Borås. At the store, the first of the three men was arrested. The other two are arrested at a later date after they have masked visiting the store.

Comprehensive evidence

According to Borås district court, there is extensive evidence to support the prosecutor. According to the law, the clothes that the masked men wore on the surveillance films from the store match the clothes the men wore when they were arrested.

A man in his 60s and a man in his 50s are sentenced to six years in prison. A man in his upper 20s is sentenced to two years in prison. The three men have, with some exceptions, denied crime.

Connections to other cases

In Borås, there have recently been several major seizures of drugs. And according to the prosecutor, there are links between this case and the case in Mark's municipality where the police found just over 53 kilos of amphetamine, most of which was hidden in a dog bunk. According to the prosecutor, parts of the drug come from the same production line. And some parts must also have been packed with the same vacuum packer.

In the second case, three other men are facing particularly serious drug offenses. That trial begins later in July.
