The French Attorney General's Office has opened an investigation this Friday against several government ministers for their management of the coronavirus crisis in the country, which has caused more than 29,000 deaths in the country.

The Attorney General of the Court of Cassation, François Molins , has announced that a judicial investigation will be opened into the management of the Covid-19 crisis in France against outgoing Prime Minister Edouard Philippe and former health ministers Olivier Véran and Agnès Buzyn .

Molins will be in charge of the investigative commission of the Court of Justice of the Republic, competent to judge the crimes and misdemeanors of the members of the Government, and will direct the investigations.
