Xi Jinping said that not long ago, on the occasion of the 99th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, Mr. Chairman sent me a letter expressing your wishes and views on deepening the relationship between China, Cambodia and the two parties.
China and Cambodia are good neighbors and good partners who help each other. After the outbreak of the New Coronary Pneumonia, China and Cambodia supported and worked closely with each other to make concerted efforts to fight against the outbreak and achieved major stage results. They interpreted the unbreakable community of China-Cambodia community with practical actions. Mr. Chairman made a special visit at a time when China's epidemic was serious, which left a deep impression on the Chinese party, government, people and myself. China attaches great importance to the development of China-Cambodia relations. I would like to work together with Mr. Chairman to strengthen the political leadership of the relations between the two parties and two countries, deepen exchanges and cooperation between the parties and other fields, and promote the building of a community of shared destiny between China and Cambodia for the benefit of the two countries and the two peoples.
I am pleased to see that under the strong leadership of King Sihamoni and the Royal Government headed by Prime Minister Hun Sen, Cambodia has made gratifying achievements in various fields of construction. China firmly supports Cambodia's development path in line with its national conditions. We believe that under the leadership of Mr. President, Cambodia will surely achieve new achievements in the country's construction and make positive contributions to promoting regional stability and development.
Hun Sen said in his previous letter to Xi Jinping that thanks to the Communist Party of China's long-term adherence to the correct development line, especially under the wise leadership of the General Secretary, China's political, economic, and social developments have made tremendous achievements that have attracted worldwide attention. Today, China's status in the international arena is increasing, and it has played a leading role in solving major global problems. Last year, China successfully held the second "Belt and Road" International Cooperation Summit Forum, which fully reflected that the joint construction of the "Belt and Road" initiative was supported by more and more countries and institutions, which fully proved China's efforts to promote the building of a community of human destiny.
