Just before 2 o'clock, several alarm calls came in from people who said they had witnessed a shooting in Tensta. When police arrived at the scene, they found a public transport bus with bullet holes.
It is still unclear if there were passengers on board, but there are no details of injuries.
- I can only say that a bus driver was on the bus. He is neither injured nor suspected of being involved in the shooting, says Ola Österling of the Stockholm Police.
Police are now searching for suspected perpetrators and are investigating whether shootings have taken place in more locations in Tensta.
- We believe it has been shot in yet another location, but we have not found it yet, says Ola Österling.
An investigation into attempted murder has been launched.
