Anyone who is guilty of the offense of negligence causing another person's death can be sentenced to between one and six years in prison if it is deemed to be gross.

Mother's defense lawyer Per Oehme says the message was expected.

- It will be a prison sentence as I see it. Today, there is no opinion from the outpatient clinic and an alternative to prison has not been investigated, he says.

The court will now resume the main hearing and decide on what penalties the mother should receive.
