“At the moment, criminal cases are being investigated against residents of Perm, Samara, Kazan, Ulyanovsk, Volgograd, Tula and several other cities,” he said.

According to him, “the investigation qualifies the publication of the Nazi photo as approval of the crimes established by the verdict of the International Military Tribunal, or the dissemination of expressing disrespect to society for information about the days of Russian military glory related to the defense of the Fatherland.”

In early June, investigators charged two other defendants in the case of posting Nazi photos on the Immortal Regiment’s website under an article on the rehabilitation of Nazism.
