It was shortly after lunch that the rescue service received an alert that two cars collided on the road between Norrköping and Katrineholm, at the height of Ändebol.
According to the rescue service, it was a rear-end collision where one of the cars drove into the other, probably in connection with the slowdown of the car in front.
Three people should be involved in the accident. It is unclear how damaged they are, but everyone should have been able to get out of the cars.
The emergency services work means that there will be traffic stops in the northbound direction, ie for the Katrineholm district.
The emergency services urge motorists to look for alternative routes past the scene, assuming that the stop may take a while. It is also said to be relatively well-traveled at the moment.
