As noted, no aviation incidents in the Rostov-on-Don region were recorded this week.

However, the organization mentioned that on June 10, during the flight of the Boeing B-777-300ER of Emirates airline, 300 km south-east of Rostov-on-Don, an airborne collision avoidance system was triggered by the S7 airline Airbus A-320-214 oncoming aircraft that was gaining height.

“However, to say that in this case the two aircraft almost collided is a serious exaggeration,” TASS reports.

They added that the controllers paid attention to the situation on time and instructed the S7 board to change course.

“The primary source of information is the Telegram channel, which, obviously, in pursuit of hype has exaggerated. Meanwhile, in aviation, airborne and ground hazard warning systems are used precisely to prevent collisions. At the same time, false positives periodically occur, ”the organization emphasized.

Earlier reports appeared on Telegram that two aircraft nearly collided in the sky above Rostov-on-Don: the dispatchers found the danger late, and the aircraft were 150 meters apart.
