Gestures and movements were careful when getting off the plane on Thursday. It was a somewhat emaciated and slow-walking Prime Minister who was greeted at the foot of the presidential jet by the Head of State Alassane Ouattara, the first lady, many ministers, and relatives, greeted one by one by Amadou Gon Coulibaly at the tip of the elbow.

Leaving for Paris on the night of May 2 to 3, Amadou Gon Coulibaly was hospitalized for follow-up to a heart transplant suffered eight years ago. Things seem to have lasted longer than expected. In particular, he was given a stent in May.

But after two months of absence , the Prime Minister was smiling and clearly relieved.  You all imagine here, the happiness that is mine to be back home, at home. It has been two months since I went to Paris for a medical check-up. This control had to be deepened, with a need for rest. And after this check and this rest, I'm back in shape . "

Amadou Gon Coulibaly thanked Alassane and Dominique Ouattara, his relatives, his collaborators and Ivorians in general. He said he was kept informed of everything that was going on in Côte d'Ivoire.

It remains to be seen whether Amadou Gon Coulibaly, RHDP candidate for the October presidential election , will remain at the head of the government and if not, when the reshuffle will take place.
