Government and Citizens keep their relationship intact. Despite the fact that Pedro Sánchez said on Monday that he is going to meet the dialogue table with the Govern of Quim Torra, the Executive and the party of Inés Arrimadas agreed on Wednesday 20 measures to include in the conclusions of the Health working groups, Economy and European Union of the Congress Reconstruction Commission .

They only ran aground in the Social Policy group due to the lack of government support for concerted education and special education.

However, from Cs they point out that it is possible that they will convince the Executive between now and Friday, when the conclusions are voted on in plenary.

The negotiation continues

Sources from Moncloa and the Cs leadership confirm that all communication channels are still open, that the dialogue between Moncloa and the Cs headquarters is fluid and that the will of both parties to agree after more than two months of negotiation and agreement is total.

All in spite of the fact that on Monday, in an informal conversation with journalists during his trip to Mauritania, the Prime Minister reaffirmed his intention to meet in July the dialogue table with the Govern, what Citizens calls "the table of the shame and blackmail ».

Of course, Pedro Sánchez lowered its content and said that neither he nor Torra have to be at that meeting.

Sources from the Cs leadership expressed skepticism about the celebration of that meeting. In fact, they considered that it can be "a bluf" and that it is not called.

The same sources maintain that the table "is unconstitutional", "violates equality" and "will make dialogue very difficult" with Citizens, as Liberal spokesman in Congress, Edmundo Bal, warned Monday in his interview in EL MUNDO .

Amnesty and self-determination

Meanwhile, the "demanding and critical" hand of Cs, as they describe it, continues to be extended. The problem will arise if the government meets that table in which the independentistas insist on speaking of amnesty and self-determination.

The Executive knows it. During these months of negotiations and pacts, the liberal spokesmen have made it known more or less explicitly to both Carmen Calvo and Pedro Sánchez's cabinet director, Iván Redondo.

If the table meets in July and, above all, if agreements come out that citizens understand should not be adopted outside the institutions, the outstretched hand of Cs to negotiate the Budgets could be withdrawn, which would constitute a serious problem for Sánchez .

From the Permanent Committee of Cs explained this Wednesday to EL MUNDO that the Executive "has bought practically everything" what they have asked for for the reconstruction pacts. And they will continue negotiating until Friday to also try to reach consensus on social policies.

Sources from the working groups explained that the ERC was very angry when learning about the government's agreements with Cs, a party with which the independentistas declared themselves absolutely incompatible.

Cs Health spokesman Guillermo Diaz argued this Wednesday at a press conference that his party continues to negotiate "out of political and moral obligation."

"Since this crisis has started, all political forces have had an obligation to help, some have not, we have," said Díaz, who also explained that "we are focused on saving lives, reconstruction, saving the economy, improving healthcare and reaching social and European agreements to overcome the crisis as soon as possible ».
