Brought down the Spanish goalkeeper Iker Casillas curtain on a 5-year stint in Porto after the end of his contract with the Portuguese club said on Wednesday.

Casillas suffered (39 years) of a heart attack during a training session last year and did not participate in any official match since April / April 2019 and got a job in the coaching staff at the beginning of the season and was part of the first team squad despite not entering a list of any match.

The head of FC Porto Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa, last February that Casillas was retiring to run for election to the presidency of the Spanish Federation of the game, but he pulled out of the race later retracted competition EU president Luis Rubiales.

And publish a picture on his account in Twitter from 1-zero victory on Monday at Pacos Ferreira stadium with a comment saying "recent trip".

For his part, published a video of Porto, entitled "Always one of us" to honor the veteran goalkeeper, who took part in 156 official appearances for the club and won the league title with the 2017-2018 season.
