Al-Jazeera Net has learned from private sources that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will arrive in Doha tomorrow, on a visit during which the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, will meet.
Erdogan's visit comes in the context of further strengthening Turkish-Qatari relations, as it comes in light of many developments in the region, most notably the developments in the military conflict in Libya in recent months.
Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani had telephoned Erdogan in late March, in which they discussed ways to support and develop relations between the two countries.
Sheikh Tamim and Erdogan also reviewed in the same phone call the efforts of the two countries to combat the Corona virus, and ways of cooperation in order to limit its spread and prevent it.
