Today, trading in two “new” shares began on the Helsinki Stock Exchange, when Metso Outotec and Neles were created in Metso's demerger.

Metso's Minerals business was merged with the mining technology company Outotec to become Metso Outotec.

The rest of Metso will continue as Neles. Metso's partial demerger was registered in the Trade Register yesterday.

The valve company Neles took Metso's place on the stock exchange, and its stock market began to decline. A large part of the stock exchange's morning turnover, out of EUR 211 million, was EUR 186 million.

Trading in the renamed Metso and Outotec shares began today on the Helsinki Stock Exchange. Metso Outotec had fallen 0.5 percent in the morning. Neles again took Metso's place on the stock exchange.

The price of network equipment manufacturer Nokia had fallen 0.1 percent in the morning to 3.89. Trading in New York ended yesterday at $ 4.40, or 3.92 euros.

Construction company Lehto said late yesterday that it had entered into a new credit limit agreement. According to the company, the new agreement may have an impact on the company's dividend distribution. Lehto's share had fallen by 6.8 percent.

Outokumpu announced that it will initiate an EIA procedure related to the expansion of the Kemi mine. The share had risen 0.1 percent.
