Supported by the emergency services in serious condition shortly after 2 p.m., he participated in a hunting party at La Chalopinière, in Sainte-Pazanne (Loire-Atlantique).
According to the newspaper Ouest-France , the victim was chasing the boar with another man when the accident took place. Trying to target an animal, it is this second hunter who is believed to be the source of the shot.
