“According to the regional forestry dispatch services, over the past day, July 1, 79 forest fires on an area of 4365 ha were eliminated in Russia,” RIA Novosti quoted the statement as saying.
It is specified that by 00:00 on July 2 in Russia there were 259 forest fires on an area of more than 182.6 thousand hectares, which were actively extinguished.
On the eve it was reported about the elimination of 80 forest fires in Russia.
