Today is the date set by the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to start the process of annexing parts of the West Bank without implementing it, amid strong Palestinian refusal and wide international opposition to implement the plan.

The Prime Minister's Office announced that the Israeli Prime Minister is continuing his discussions with the American administration to agree on a mechanism to start implementing the annexation of lands in the West Bank.

Israeli Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi ruled out the announcement of the annexation of lands from the West Bank to Israel on Wednesday, which is the date set by the Benjamin Netanyahu government to start discussing this step.

Ashkenazi said - in an interview with Israeli army radio - that it is unlikely that there will be an announcement regarding the expansion of Israeli sovereignty in the occupied West Bank today.

Ashkenazi declined to comment on reports indicating that there were differences within the ruling coalition in Israel over the timing of any unilateral move to annexation.

Hundreds of officers reject
and hundreds of former officers and security men in the Israeli army and security services demanded the government headed by Benjamin Netanyahu not to annex parts of the West Bank, and they said that would harm Israel's security.

In return, Israeli Energy Minister Yuval Steinitz revealed that the process of annexing parts of the West Bank would take place within months, and possibly weeks.

No US approval
, and the director of the Al-Jazeera office in Jerusalem, Walid Al-Omari, said that Netanyahu did not get a green American light by starting to implement the annexation plan.

He added that an American delegation left Israel yesterday, after trying to reconcile the poles of government in Israel, amid differences within the ruling circles in Israel over the annexation plan and the conditions for its implementation.

Netanyahu and Defense Minister Benny Gantz, the main coalition partner, are at odds over the timing of any unilateral move to annex the territories.

On Tuesday, Netanyahu said - after meeting with US envoys to discuss the annexation in the framework of the US peace plan in the Middle East; These talks will last for several days.

"There are strong talks with Israel on Trump's plan," a US official told Reuters after White House adviser Avi Perquets concluded his visit to Israel.

Trump's plan calls for the establishment of Israeli sovereignty over about 30% of West Bank land, in addition to establishing a Palestinian state under strict conditions.

A Frenchman in Britain rejects and British
Prime Minister Boris Johnson called in an opinion piece in the most popular Israeli newspaper to cancel any annexation plans.

"The annexation would violate international law, I strongly hope that the annexation will not take place. If it does, the UK will not recognize any changes to the 1967 borders, except for those agreed upon between the two parties," Johnson wrote in an article in the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper.

For his part, French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian said today, Wednesday, that annexing Israel to any lands in the occupied West Bank would be a violation of international law, and would have consequences.

"The annexation of Palestinian lands, whatever their area, would cast doubt on the frameworks for resolving the conflict," Le Drian said in a parliamentary session.

"The annexation decision cannot pass without consequences, and we are studying various options at the national level, as well as in coordination with our main European partners."

Amnesty International also called on the international community to take resolute action against the illegal Israeli annexation plan proposals for parts of the West Bank.

The organization said in a report that the annexation plan that Israel intends to implement reinforces the law of the jungle, and called for it to be stopped.

The organization added that the plan violates international laws and exacerbates systematic Israeli violations against Palestinians for decades.

Palestinian demonstrations
Thousands of Palestinians participated in demonstrations in the West Bank and Gaza Strip on Wednesday, rejecting the Israeli annexation of Palestinian lands, amid threats of firm reactions.

Participants in the demonstrations held Palestinian flags, banners denouncing the annexation scheme, and calling for Arab and international positions to abolish it.
