Since Monday, a class at the Victor Hugo nursery school in Schiltigheim has been closed. The cause ? A student has tested positive for covid-19, according to Latest News from Alsace .
Parents of students in the class in question received a letter asking them to supervise their child and put him "in solitary confinement", according to the regional daily. They will therefore not return to school, which will close this Saturday, July 4.
Why was the whole establishment not closed? "The research made it possible to identify that your child was not in close contact with this case in the educational establishment", wrote the Regional Health Agency (ARS) and the Strasbourg Academy, in a letter addressed to parents of students from all other classes.
