Claes Jansson (MP) is a member of the municipal council in Karlshamn for the Environment Party. He believes that it may be relevant to leave the government.

- If the Social Democrats agree with the Moderates and their ultimatum is that the environmental party should not have any influence, then we can not set up any government cooperation with (S). Everything else would be folded like a doormat, he says.

Madeleine Norman (MP), group leader for the Environmental Party in Karlskrona, also believes that ongoing government cooperation can become unsustainable.

- If the Social Democrats go ahead with this migration policy, yes.

Have confidence in the party leadership

All representatives of the Environmental Party in Blekinge's five municipalities emphasize that they have confidence in the party leadership.

- I feel that everyone in our party has confidence in the people we have chosen and that they make sensible decisions, says Eva-Lena Ulvsfält (MP), group leader for the Environmental Party in Sölvesborg.

At the same time, all group leaders agree on the importance of the political leadership sticking to the party's position on the issue of migration policy.

"You should not change your mind, even if it involves conflict"

- The environmental party should not rely on what we stand for. We need a solidarity migration policy that does not divide families. The proposals that are being presented now go directly against it right now, including current volume targets and family reunification, says Lova Necksten (MP), group leader for the Environmental Party in Ronneby.

She is supported by Jacek Jurkowski (MP), group leader for the Environmental Party in Olofström.

- If you think that something is in principle important, I think you should not change your opinion depending on how the wind blows, although it can lead to a conflict, he says.
