Like the Champions League scheduled in Portugal, "there is no need for a plan B" for the final tournament of the Europa League scheduled in Germany in August, assured Wednesday the president of UEFA, Aleksander Ceferin.

"As with the Final 8 of the Champions League in Portugal, there is no need for a Plan B for this tournament (the Europa League) in Germany," said Ceferin, in a statement to the from a videoconference discussion with the president of the German Football Federation (DFB), Fritz Keller.

Despite the restructuring measures taken since Wednesday in Lisbon, UEFA had already assured Tuesday that there was "no need for a plan B" for the final Champions League tournament scheduled in the Portuguese capital from 12 until August 23.

The final C3 tournament is scheduled in North Rhine-Westphalia, in the cities of Cologne, Duisburg, Gelsenkirchen and Düsseldorf, from August 10 to 21.

The quarters (August 10-11) and the halves (August 16-17) will be played on a dry match, not in the round trip form. The final is scheduled for Friday August 21 in Cologne.

The knockout stages, including Manchester United, are scheduled for August 5 and 6. For AS Rome - Sevilla FC and Inter - Getafe, whose first leg has not been disputed, the fate of these confrontations will be decided on a dry match and neutral ground, also in Germany.
