June 30, 2020 Microsoft suspended its advertising on Facebook and Instagram in the U.S. in May and recently extended the measure globally. This is what Axios exclusively writes that quotes an internal group chat. However, unlike the many advertisers who recently joined Facebook's boycott campaign, Microsoft is concerned about where its ads are shown, not about Facebook's policies. The result - Axios writes - is however that another great advertiser is not currently replenishing the coffers of the social platform.
