June 30, 2020 Dia di Bari and the Albanian authorities, with the help of Criminalpol, the Tirana Inter-Forces Liaison Office and the Albanian police, as well as with the collaboration - in Italy - of carabinieri, state police, Guardia di Finanza and of Dia di Foggia, Lecce, Bologna, Rome, Naples and Catanzaro, are jointly carrying out, between Italy and Albania, on the orders of the DDA of Bari and of the Special Prosecution Anti-corruption and Organized Crime of Tirana - with the Coordination of Eurojust (The Hague ), directed by the Italian national member - 37 arrests of persons believed to be responsible for international trafficking of large quantities of drugs. Seizure decrees are also under way for a total of 4 million euros. A press release made it known. During the investigation, approximately three and a half tons of drugs were seized from marijuana, cocaine and hashish, for a value of over 40 million euros and corresponding to about 7 million doses.
