Deputy Secretary of State US Vegan Coordinated by Visiting South Korea Response to North Korea 12:17 June 30?

It was revealed that Vice-Secretary of State of the United States, which is in charge of North Korean issues in the US government, is making adjustments to visit South Korea again next week for the first time in about six months. It seems that they would like to exchange opinions centering on North Korea's response, which has shook up South Korea, such as by bombing the joint liaison offices in the north and south.

This is what the US-Korea relations source revealed to NHK on the 30th.

According to that, Vice Secretary of State Vegan, who is in charge of the North Korean affairs under the US government, is making adjustments to visit South Korea next week.

It is said that the schedule is being considered from 7th to 9th of next month at the earliest, and it will be the first time in half a year for Vice Minister Vegan to visit South Korea.

Concerning the situation on the Korean Peninsula, North Korea has rebounded this month in response to a North Korean defector group flying a leaflet criticizing Kim Jung-un (Kim Jong-un), the chairman of the Korean Labor Party. On the other hand, the military plan, which was revealed as a countermeasure, was put on hold while the turmoil against South Korea was strengthened.

For this reason, the Deputy Secretary-General of Vegan seems to want to talk with the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs, such as Lee Do-hoon (Director of the Degree of Peace) of the Korean Peninsula Peace Negotiations, and exchange opinions centering on the response to North Korea.
