As noted by Aksyonov, now in terms of logistics capabilities, Crimea is no different from other Russian entities.

According to him, the throughput provides for 12 freight pairs of trains per day, which will allow transporting 13 million tons of cargo per year.

The head of the republic emphasized that the launch of freight rail links will increase the supply of products and raw materials, will contribute to the development of competition and increase the investment attractiveness of Crimea.

The movement of freight trains on the railway part of the Crimean bridge opened on June 30. The first trains followed the transport passage.
