The evening and then the night from Monday to Tuesday were hot for the Toulouse firefighters. Sixty men first intervened shortly after 8 p.m. for a fire from a car parked in the second basement of the Capitol parking lot. Around 2 a.m., it was rue d'Astorg, between Saint-Etienne cathedral and Saint-Georges square, that an intervention had to take place.
106 people were evacuated from a six-story building due to a fire that started in a fifth-floor apartment, for a reason that remained unknown Tuesday morning. There were no injuries.
Two people relocated
Once the incident was brought under control by the firefighters of the Genes-Lougnon, Vion and Colomiers barracks, early in the morning, the residents were able to return home. Except for the two occupants of the completely destroyed apartment from which the flames started, which had to be relocated.
