Globally, Toyota recalls 752,000 cars manufactured between March 2013 and February 2020. The models in question are the Prius and Auris hybrid.

- There is a service recall. There is nothing wrong with them, it has been discovered that there is a risk that the car does not activate a safe location. If the car senses that something is wrong, it should activate safely to alert the driver that you should drive to the workshop or drive off the road. Now there is a risk that the car will not start it, says Erik Gustafsson.

What can be the consequences?

- In the worst case, it can cause the car to stop operating, stop it instead of being able to drive to the workshop.

What should the car owners concerned do?

- They will receive a letter asking them to contact their Toyota workshop and book an update to correct any errors. This does not mean that there is a greater risk that errors will occur, but for safety reasons you should do so.

Erik Gustafsson says Toyota is responsible for the service cost of the cars in question.
