The practitioner angered his patient by simply asking him to reveal himself for treatment. Friday morning, police arrested a man in his forties in a dental office in Villeurbanne, near Lyon, for a series of degradations.

The suspect with 27 criminal records would have lost the pedals during his visit to the dentist after the practitioner asked him to take off his cap and headphones to be able to treat him.

Placed in police custody

The forty-something then threatened the staff of the dental office while degrading the premises, said Monday the departmental safety of the Rhône. When the police arrived on the scene, the man continued to make utterly delusional remarks.

Placed in police custody, the suspect denied the facts. He was to be presented to the Lyon prosecutor's office on Sunday, with a view to being tried in immediate appearance, adds the police.
