At least six people have died when a group of armed men attacked the Karachi Stock Exchange in southern Pakistan on Monday with grenades and gunshots.
"A group of terrorists tried to enter the building of the Stock Exchange. In the exchange of fire the four attackers died and I can confirm that at least one police officer died," said a police spokesman for the city, Rizwan Patel.
The attack has been claimed by an independence group from the neighboring province of Baluchistan. There would also be another fatality and at least three wounded.
