The attackers got out of a car, threw a grenade on the building before opening fire, according to Ghulam Nabi Memon, the police chief of Karachi.

The outcome of this attack is currently unknown. At least four attackers were killed, according to the police.

Grenade

The attack comes ten days after a grenade was thrown in a queue outside a welfare office, killing one person and injuring eight others. No group had claimed responsibility for the attack.

However, after bloody years marked by almost daily attacks, violence has dropped very sharply in Pakistan.
