Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko during a meeting with Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced the imminent resumption of work of film screening organizations.

“Another good news is that cinemas open on July 15,” RIA Novosti quoted Chernyshenko as saying.

During the meeting, Mishustin noted that fewer and fewer cases of coronavirus infection were recorded in Russia. 

“The number of detected cases is declining, despite the increase in the number of tests for the presence of the virus and antibodies to it. We will continue to expand testing, ”the prime minister said.

He explained that the tests allow you to identify the disease in time, help the person and prevent him from infecting others.

The head of the Cabinet of Ministers also said that almost 3.5 billion rubles will be allocated from the reserve fund of the government to Rospotrebnadzor for the production of test systems for further diagnosis of coronavirus.

At the same time, the general director of the United Cinema Network Alexei Vasyasin noted that they would need about 30 days to prepare for the opening. 

“We do not know yet (whether we will open July 15), because this requires official permission from the authorities. As cinemas were closed by decree, so they should be opened by decree, ”Interfax quoted him as saying.

He specified that the technical preparation of the halls for opening takes two weeks, but to start full-fledged work, it takes about 30 days for distributors to manage a normal advertising campaign for their films.

Over the past 24 hours, 6,719 new cases of coronavirus infection have been detected in Russia, of which the largest number in Moscow is 782. 4,343 people recovered and were discharged, 93 patients died.

The total number of registered cases of COVID-19 in the country reached 641 156, for the entire time 403 430 people were cured of the disease, 9 166 were infected.

In particular, the head physician of the hospital in the village of Kommunarka, Denis Protsenko, said that 310 patients were treated there, 13 people were discharged over the past 24 hours, five died.

“In the capital, 782 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed. This is almost three times less than a month ago, when 2332 cases were recorded per day, ”the headquarters said.

The situation in the regions

Meanwhile, the Russian regions, depending on the epidemiological situation, continue to mitigate or extend the restrictive measures introduced due to COVID-19.

So, the authorities of the Vladimir region announced the extension until July 12 of the regime of self-isolation for people over 65 years of age. The corresponding decree was signed by Governor Vladimir Sipyagin. Residents of a region of a specified age are allowed to leave the apartment only to seek medical help, walking their animals no further than 100 meters from the house and going to the nearest store or pharmacy.

The decision to extend the regime of self-isolation was also made by the Chukotka authorities - it will remain in effect until July 6. In the region, there is still a ban on holding mass events, and a mask regime in public places. At the same time, additional anti-epidemic restrictions are lifted in five localities of the district - the work of hotels, gyms, and dental offices is again allowed there.

Due to the situation with coronavirus, the regime of restrictive measures was extended by the authorities of the Jewish Autonomous Region until July 12. Since June 15, EAO has started the first stage of lifting restrictions - small shops of industrial goods have been opened, walks for two people and sports in the streets are allowed. Nevertheless, the region maintains a regime of self-isolation and a ban on mass events.

Until July 12, the self-isolation regime in Kalmykia was also extended.

At the same time, the authorities of the Chelyabinsk region allowed the resumption of the work of a number of enterprises.

“The governor of the Chelyabinsk region Alexei Texler signed an order to remove a number of restrictions. According to the document, summer cafes and open verandas, fitness centers, zoos, but only expositions in open areas, are allowed to resume work, ”the press service said.

The head of the region said that within a week there was a decrease in the number of patients with coronavirus.

In the Kurgan region, cinema and street verandas will resume work on June 30. Obligatory compliance recommendations have been developed for each industry, the regional expert reported.

In turn, the head of Yakutia, Aisen Nikolaev, said that the region would remove restrictions from July 2, subject to dynamics to reduce the number of cases.

Finally, the Sakhalin authorities allowed the holding of mass events in enclosed spaces, provided that the organizers maintained social distance and the use of personal protective equipment.
