It was the night before Sunday that a 35-year-old man died in connection with a shooting in Skiftinge. The police have so far been absent about whether there is any suspect or arrested.
On Monday, police announced via their Facebook page that they had found a burnt moped in connection with the crime scene, which is suspected to be involved. The area has now been blocked off.
- The fact that the moped has something to do with the shooting is not something we exclude, says Tomas Tellerbo at the department of serious crimes in Eskilstuna, in the Facebook post.
During the week the police will interrogate residents in the area and on Monday the police had an extended presence in Skiftinge.
The police also wrote in the post that they welcome observations from the area that night.
