The incident happened on October 9 last year in a residential area in Örebro. The man himself states that he suffered from an epileptic seizure. The man's co-worker alerted SOS, and a police patrol dispatched to the scene to help the ambulance staff.

"Feeling I Will Die"

The man has previously notified the police. But that investigation was dropped by prosecutors, says NA.

Now he reports to both the police and the ambulance staff. In his report, the man states that he has been depressed on newly laid asphalt by three police officers and three people from the ambulance staff.

He claims that the blue-light staff did not have a security mind and that they used force in a situation where it was not justified.

"I feel I will die," the man writes of the incident to JO.

Initiates investigation

JO has now decided to initiate an investigation and requests that the Police Authority and the Regional Board of the Region of Örebro County give their opinion on the case by September 28 at the latest.

Right now, the Region cannot leave any comments.

- We cannot comment on the individual case due to confidentiality, says Marielle Centerfjord, acting acting ambulance manager.

Stating that the man was violent

The man has previously been convicted of some cases of minor drug offenses. According to police, they received the case as a suspected drug overdose, and police also believe the man was violent when he woke up after the attack.

The police who were involved in the intervention reported him for violent resistance, but the investigation was closed.
