The area of ​​forest fires in Russia increased to 165 thousand ha per day

“At 00:00 Moscow time on June 29, 2020, 246 forest fires were operating on the territory of the Russian Federation on an area of ​​165,831 hectares,” the text says.

It is noted that large foci of fires operate in the Magadan region, Irkutsk region and the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

Earlier it was reported that in the Vyborg district of the Leningrad region, a forest burns on an area of ​​about 30 hectares.
